i met ms. ulias at the mspca many years ago with her husband. before we met, i don't think i ever understood the definition of a 'beautiful person'. from the many kindnesses she showed me, from opening her heart and home to countless people, children and most of all, to unwanted animals, and from her gentle and unselfish ways, it became obvious that we all had been blessed with her presence. even in her final days, she cared more for the creatures around her than she did even for herself....

My sympathies on the passing of your mom. I hope all is well with you and yours.
