LTC Iona Sherman "Sherm" Connolly U.S. Army, (Ret.)

I had the privilege of knowing Sherm through the Soroptimist group. During that time, I did our newsletter and Sherm gave me a whole envelope of poems and sayings and things she thought were fun. I still have it. I thought maybe the great grandkids would be interested. If you would email me an address, I would be happy to send it along. Sherm was the greatest lady I am proud to call my friend. I would to sit with her and listen to her stories about her time in the military. We bonded like grandmother and granddaughter. I hate to say goodbye but sherm, you will be forever in my heart. Rest In Peace my friend. Pet Mikey for me! Love you

Not only was she a great patriot to our great nation, she was my loving and caring God Mother. Grandmother Sherm you will be greatly missed! Rest In Peace
