Ione Elizabeth Zufelt

Ione was like a sister to me. We met in nursing school 64 years ago and became instant best friends. We roomed together for over 3 years. I stayed with Ione and her wonder family for 9 months while we went to nursing school together. I feel so blessed to have known the love, kindness and exemplary life she lived. Ione was truly an angel sister to me and I will always cherish our friendship.

Our family came to love Ione in the past year while she lived as a resident at Creekside. She was a joy to be around! We loved her earnest (and often successful!) efforts to sing with us in worship services. She is WONDERFUL! Peace to her family now.
