I can't believe it has been 9 years since you parted, it still feels so recent. I can tell you that you are always present. Sometimes things happen that bring back to my memory what I call an "Ira story" which is just something funny you would do or say. Years later you still make me laugh. Just know you are missed and keep shining my friend.

Always remember your funny sayings and how much they made me laugh, our talks about religious matters, how in a racist world you could look past a man's skin color and be his friend, how Aria would call stressed about a school thing and you were her North, your lunch dates with Kyle. You were not my boss but my friend. We spend more time at work than we do at home and we worked together 6 years. You parted too soon. Since I believe in heaven, I know I will see you again my friend.

So many years later and still thought of often, especially during the holiday season. No one can forget that sense of humor. Rest in peace my friend.
