Not sure what to say?

I met Ira while working at the Greek Village he was a regular and later became my account. He had a great sense of humor and often mad me laugh. He was knowledgeable in all things. I miss him and think of him often. I still work at Greek Village and was talking to John about him recently. He is greatly missed.

I'm heartbroken to find out about Ira, an old and dear friend from waaaaay back. I have many happy memories of camping trips, parties, and just get-togethers from New Jersey to California. Blummy was always the life of the party, really a great big teddy bear, with a heart of gold. I will miss him and will always regret that by the time I found him, it was too late. Lisa, you and Jordan are in my thoughts and prayers.

I can not tell you how shocked and saddened I was to hear about Ira's passing. While I have only known Ira as my accountant - I always looked forward to my annual visits with him. His sense of humor was a breath of fresh air! He was a delightful man to work with. My thoughts are with his family.

Lisa and Jordan,

Just heard the news of Ira's passing and am deeply saddened. Ira was a great friend and counselor for me and my family for many years and I truly enjoyed his sense of humor and the honest and forthright discussions we would have. He always knew when I needed a splash of cold water to bring me back to reality but he did it in such a genuine and caring way that we always wound up laughing.

My heart and prayers go out to you both and his other friends. I...

I can't begin to tell you how shocked and saddened I am by this news. He was an anchor for our business and a vital part of its success. Sitting with him going our the business and planning helped us in so many ways. What I will miss most though is just drinking coffee and sharing a laugh during those times. He was very witty and always had a way to keep it real, lively and humorous. I will miss him very much.

Ira was my accountant. But he was also a man who I trusted with everything. He always knew what to do, remembered every little detail about my taxes and finances, and made me feel safe, comfortable and secure. Ira also had a wonderful sense of humor. When I first hired him as an accountant, he discovered that I had screwed up the last 2 years in taxes, and that I was owed thousands of dollars. He asked me whether I wanted to file the correction or whether I wanted him to do it. I told...

My accountant for many years, I am devastated by this. I was away for the month, had some calls ito him and never heard back. That was not like him. he protected me..cared about me...made me laugh and always did the right thing for me. I am in shock and in tears!

I have been a close friend of Ira, Lisa and Jordan for the past 27 years. I will miss Ira for the rest of my life. Ira was a stand up guy. If you were lucky enough to be considered a friend by Ira he would do anything for you.
In 1984 I had some serious tax issues and had a levy on my money. I called Ira to ask his advice and his solution was to show up the very next morning at the IRS office. He negotiated a payment schedule and had the levy lifted. He then proceeded to clean up 5...

We didn't know Mr. Blumberg well, but he was incredibly caring and calming as our accountant. He made us feel better about our life plans and helped us plan our family with a new sense of confidence. Our baby is due in February and this is in good part because he helped us. Our condolences to his family.
