Not sure what to say?

I miss you papa. I miss all the fun things we did. I miss you driving up to grandmas house with a box of Krispy Kreme donuts! You always knew exactly how to make me smile. You loved me so much and i loved you. I miss all the times i got to stay the night at your house. Good times

Thinking of you and missing your beautiful energy and light daily

Ira a great friend and father the following year the same month i lost my daughter it's been hard but i know with the Lord by my side everything will be alright you are both in a better place.

Ira and I are the best of friends. We are closer than anything, he is also my grandfather. He has taught me everything I Know. Due to that I will forever be wise and Praise God.

You were many things to me. You were an awesome father. You became a friend when I needed one. You led me to Christ, and you taught me how to fight in the spirit. I am so proud to say that you were my father. Until we meet again, I just want to say thank you my father, my friend, my brother in Christ.

Condolences to Ira Carey's Family.
Ira lived life's events separated by "commas". His life's events have now been closed with a "period". To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
-Al & Helen Patterson-Class of 1965.

I remember Ira a as one of the best friends a person could have. Degrees of separation began when he left Austin in '60s. The last time I saw Ira was when I was home on leave from Japan. He never lost that wry smile and soft spoken word. To his family my prayers are with you for I believe I feel your loss. I wish I could have seen my childhood buddy one more time. He will be missed.

Saddened by the loss of Ira, I was a classmate in Groesbeck, Tx in the 60's until he went back to Austin. I spoke with him in May 2015 for first time in 50 years, didn't know he was sick. Jean Asberry

We are sorry for your loss. May God's strength carry you thru this time.
