Read MoreI am sorry to hear of Ira´s passing these many years later. Ira & I did not get along well at first during my graduate studies at Kent State, but over time I grew to respect him deeply. It's was my sculpture professor @ Kent State in the 1970's, he was a dear soul. I lived the way he talked with hand gestures rather than words to explain what my pieces needed to be more complete. I have just brought out my pieces to exhibit them in my home and it made me think of him. He & I both loved the sculptures of Henry Moore.
