Sonny often told me how fortunate he was in life since the doctors told his mother when he was born that he would never walk. His strength proved them wrong and it was his strength, courage, and love for others that was a blessing to us all. I am comforted in knowing that he is with his dear friends Carlos and Joe and now both he and Joe watch over me.

I was blessed to know both Sonny and Joe through my work and am grateful to have had that opportunity.
