Not sure what to say?

My sympathies to Mary and the family. I was out of town and just learned of Lon's death. I very much enjoyed getting to know Lon and Mary during the 80's when we were neighbors in Oak Creek. Family was very important to them and it is my hope that the family will continue to be Mary's support. I know Lon was very lucky to have such a supportive and loving wife.

Sending This With Love and Sympathy, Ranee

I was very sad to read about Lon's passing. I would have liked to have attended the funeral - I lost touch with Lon over the years but he was one that could never be forgotten. He was a great confidante to me and his advice was priceless. I wish that I could have introduced him to my wife.

I will cherish my memories and continue to pray for his family.

Those were the days.

Indomitable, indefatigable Lon. He touched many peoples' lives including ours when he brought us to Austin in 1966. Our family now totals 23 people in Texas. When we first arrived from England, we looked askance at the Hill Country; the rolling scrubland cooking in 100 degree temperatures. He said "you will get to love this country" and we did.

I am so sorry to hear of Lon's death. My deepest sympathy goes to his wife and family.
Lon's daddy Meeks was brother to my grandmother Irene Mae Wyche, and I loved him dearly. I remember meeting Lon once when I was very young, but never had the
opportunity to really know him. My grandmother often spoke of him.
My love and sympathy to you all during this sad time,
Frieda Willburn

No mountain too high; no path too rocky-- this is the Lon I remember.

It is with such sadness that I write this little note to the family of Lon. Mary and Lon gave Craig and I a friendship that we will never forget. Some people pass through our lives and we are blessed, but Lon and Mary have blessed our lives and live in our hearts.
Lon, we will miss you.

We love you and your family.

God looked around His garden and found an empty space. Then He looked down upon this earth and saw His tired face. He put His arms around Him and lifted Him to rest. Gods garden must be beautiful. He always takes the best.
God Bless you Lon, you're at peace now and forever.
My Heart and Prayers are with you and your family...

I have fond memories of working
with Dr. Morgan at IDM and think of
him often because of the experiences
he gave me the opportunity to go after.
My best to all of Dr. Morgan's family
and friends.

Best Regards,

Bob Rice
