Not sure what to say?

Still can't believe Ira is gone. He was a good friend.

Ira was a fellow member of St Angela Academy and a kind soul. I offer my sympathy and prayers for the woodhead family.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Reassembling my 62 Bug, Feb 2009.

Dear Gracie, Mal-Mal and Ira ... I will miss your Dad driving by in the afternoon "checking things out" ... he was always there to help out if I needed a tool or some advice on the boat and help with the Bug. But most of all he was a great Dad to you guys. When we stopped on the road ... that was all he talked about ... how you guys were doing. You've had a tough year, like Susan said ... you know you can call or stop by if there is anything you need. I miss your Mom and Dad ... you guys...

Kind in heart, bright in mind and a wonderful questioning smile. I feel very blessed to have had a little part of his crazy hair and his always trying to push it back out of his eyes....eyes that had lots to say. He was very special.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ira will be missed.

Ira, Grace, and Mallory, I was so very sad to hear of your dad's passing. He was a wonderful friend to my husband Charlie, they spent alot of time together growing up in Aiken. Your father had the most animated stories to tell about he and Charlie, Ricky, Bruce and Bill, and many more. They all hunted together at Tomotley and I would wait around until they returned to here of their exploits!Since hearing the news, Charlie and I have spent time remembering Ira and the friend he was. Many...

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. I also went to St Angela's with him and have great memories of his infectious smile. I don't think there was a girl in Aiken who didn't have a crush on him at one time or another! He was a great guy and will be missed! Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Your dad and I were high school classmates at St. Angela. It's funny over the years it's easy to remember the good things about people and that makes it easy to remember Ira. He always had a smile on his face, he was quiet yet funny and I don't think I ever heard him say something negative about anyone. He was positive addition to our high school class. My family's thought and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow in your hearts.
