Dearest Ira. I found a postcard you sent me in 1969 and hoped I could find you again. I almost did. You were so close and passed such a short time ago. We were in a group with Crit Brooks in the "60's. I always loved you and am so sorry I missed all the years we could have seen each other. I'm very glad your life was so full and happy. I always loved and admired your art, but mostly I treasure you all these years later as a superb human. Much love.

Our dashing Ira has left us. A light has gone out in the world. We will not see his like again.

Wonderful family known by many locals here in Washington, extending back into the 1930's. Go in grace my man.
