Read MoreI am saddened that I didn´t learn about your loss until May 14th. I taught at Sparta Middle while Stella was there. She always had a smile. She was so helpful and friendly. I saw her many times at the Krause Memorial Library after we both retired. Still a big smile and welcome. May God grant you the peace he promises those who mourn.

Susan, Barbara & Linda, Karen & Janet, and Frank, This is very sad news. I am very sorry for your loss. My memories of Auntie Stella are all fond memories, clear back to the 1950's. I remember when she took me with her in her Ford to the San Fernando Dragstrip. Even though I live a long ways from Michigan, I will miss her. Your cousin Joe Scavo

Janet, I met your Mom before I met you!! She volunteered at North Kent when I met her, and I knew right away that she was a kind and giving person. When I took my Mom there, mine always said, "I hope Stella is there today. She´s nice to talk with." And neither of our Moms knew that they would be connected someday by YOU!
