Irene M. Cannon

Oh, my goodness. I was JUST thinking of Mrs. Meacham (that's how I knew her). She was my absolute FAVORITE 5th grade teacher back in 1972 at C. C. Duff Elementary school in Arlington, Tx. She was so much fun and made learning so easy and enjoyable. She was like having an extra "Momma". I've thought of her a million times over the years and smile every time. Prayers to all of her family for peace and comfort. Until we all meet again.

Mrs. Meacham (as she was known back then) was my 5th grade teacher at Duff Elementary. Absolutely my favorite teacher ever! I thought about her so many times through the years, a lovely caring professional who I will never forget. Rest in peace sweet lady.

I knew Irene at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington, where we sang in the choir together, and were in several groups there. I am sorry for the loss of this lovely woman. She was a cheerful presence and always had a kind word. She will be missed.

Irene was a lovely friend from our Presbyterian Church in Arlington. Our sympathy to the families on her passing David and Liz Lowrance.
