Growing up attending Cherokee Place, Mrs. Chinnis has been a part of my family´s life. Mrs. Chinnis and Mrs. Beard were my mother Edith Dukes Cauthen Dupuis best friends. They talked to each other on a daily basis. Even though I didn´t see her often, she treated me in the same loving manner she always had my whole life. Now these 3 friends are back together. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
