CONWAY, Irene B., 90, of Varina, passed away peacefully at her home on January 4, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Conway, whom she was happily married to for 64 years; and daughter, Dorothy C. Craft. She is survived by four grandchildren and their spouse; Melinda, Bubba and Teresa, Kenny and Tina; and a devoted grandson and wife, Chris and Dana Craft; and seven great-grandchildren, Kristina, Nikki, Kayla, Austin, Emma, Ashley and Jack; one great-great-grandchild, Tyson; and a devoted nephew, John S. Conway; and many other friends and family members. Mrs. Conway was a life long member of Four Mile Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home located at 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue. Services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
