Dear children,
We were saddened to learn of your mother's death. We read about it in the Cross Currents today on 8/17/2006 . We thought a lot about both your parents. They were the first church people from
Friendship UMC to visit us at our new home when we moved to Cross at Jones Boat Landing 32 yrs. ago.
May you all know we extend our deepest sympathy to each and every one of you.

Dear Libby, Reggie, Mike, Sam, Steve, and Family,
My deepest sympathies to you all during this difficult time. I will always remember visiting your home and getting hugs and cookies from your Mom. She was kind to my family and my mother always spoke highly of her. She was a special person who now resides in Heaven. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

Irene was a very community minded person & Cross shall miss her.
