Read MoreToday would have been my lovely best friend from our childhood in Somerville, MA-her birthday today. July 6th. Each year we called each other on our birthdays. Irene was my daughter's Godmother. She was also Miss Hampton Beach in 1959. She was beautiful-inside and outside. We lived so far apart-but always remained close. I love this lady. She is with God, now. My heart is broken.
