I remember meeting Irene for the first time, her smile lit the room! That was back in the 70's when her brother brought me to meet the family.Through the years, and had children she would spoil them, with a coddling set of arms. Always a kind word for me! Rather ashamed that I never knew of her amazing accomplishments through her military service, until now,and that years passed through our fingers! Forever a special place in my heart,forever loving you Rene!
