My Mom was Rosemary Sullivan and as I recall they lived just a few houses away from each other as kids. I had not seen Irene for many years. I knew she was a very accomplished woman but really did not know just how much.

What an impressive woman. Although I have never met her, her neice's comments through the years and the biography that I just read make it quite clear that I really missed something.
