Dearest David, Marcia, and Kristin: My then wife and I met Bill and Irene in the early 1970's through mutual friends Joe and Marcia Franson of Longmeadow. We had several opportunities to socialize. Irene has been a wonderful friend for forty years. While at Springfield College for 15 years, Irene was secretary to two departments- the Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science Department and the Humanities Department!
