I said before that the blanket making was too much pressure. It wasn't like that with Grandmere. She just didn't want to finish. Because it would be the end. I get that better.

I love that woman.
She made cake out of nothing.
She liked cornbread in buttermilk.
Her carrot and raisin salad still haunts me to this day.
I rubbed her feet while she rocked on this blue (?) recliner chair that was beat to death. It squeaked and my mother hated it. She would pound the remote, the "clicker" to get it to work. Pound pound pound. I don't think she wanted to replace the batteries.
In the Summer we would watch The Price is Right and play...
