Not sure what to say?

Irene was the most beautiful, fair and generous person that ever came into my life. She was always ready and willing to help all those around her, even if just by lending a shoulder. She is missed and I know she is with her beloved David and family in heaven.

I met Irene several years ago when she was my customer at Berkshire Bank. I was so impressed with her lovely, sweet nature inspite of her physical pain. Irene was a delightful lady who always had a smile and a warmth that touched everyone. My thoughts are with your family and your loss.

Irene, Irma and my mother...what company they can keep again. Your mother was a wonderful part of our lives and my childhood; those agency women were forces to be reckoned with and consoled by. Your mother was truly inspirational. My love and that of my family is with you now.

Joan, Steve and family,
We are so very sorry for this most sad loss of your mother and grandmother. It was our pleasure to have met Mrs. Kagan who was truly a lovely woman. You are all in our prayers.

Irene Kagan was always a lady with a charming smile. She was also my mother's best friend. They could chat in person or on the phone for hours at a time. Their relationship was special and because of it Irene was always an important part of our lives. She took great interest and cared about all of our family.
We are thinking of you; Joan, Andy, and your families.

i am all so sorry for your loss.

When I became an adult, she told me to call her Irene, but I never could: she was always Mrs. Kagan to me, as a sign of respect. She was a wonderful family friend for as long as I can remember. She continued to check in with my parents even after they left Pittsfield. Her nurturing nature was always present. Mrs. Kagan was one of a kind, and I am honored to have known her.

Mrs. Kagan helped at a time, when I was living in Pittsfield, in my life when I really needed it. Thank you Mrs. Kagan. Dr. Kagan was my family's Dr. in the 50/60's. They are happy now that they are together again. Mrs. Kagan is Walking in the Sunlight of the Spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Irene will always hold a special place in my heart,it has been an honor and a delight to care for her these past nine years....She had become a great friend.. I will miss her dearly..
