Irene E. Maksay, nee Szenasi, 88, of Bellwood, beloved wife of the late Alaxander; loving mother of Diane (Ronald Stokes) Maksay and Linda (Gerald) McInerney; proud grandmother of Jerilyn, Todd and Melora McInerney; dear sister of Emma Wagner and Joseph Szenasi. Visitation Friday, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17W201 Roosevelt Rd (1/2 mile west of Rt 83), Oakbrook Terrace. Friends and family to gather Saturday, at the Berkeley-Hillside Presbyterian Church, 5207 Ridge, Hillside for Funeral Service 10 a.m. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Berkeley-Hillside Presbyterian Church. For information

Diane,
I received the e-mail on the loss of your mother. It will be 10 years in March, since I lost my own Mother. As time passes the memories are sharper and clearer and bring peace with the separation. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
