Not sure what to say?

To Marty, Joel, and Howard, I wish to convey my sincerest sympathy to you and your families for the loss of your mother. Every time I wear my Calgary Stampede belt buckle, I think of the wonderful time we had with your families.

I just found a message on my answering machine about it. I hope this message finds you as I do not seem to have any good contact information for any of you.

I now live in my parents' house in Skokie with the same telephone number they had. ...

What great company you were! I met you only in May, but I knew right away you would be a valued neighbor and friend.

Thank you, Irene for being a wonderful friend to my mom (Rose Lopez). She so enjoyed your company, you always knew how to put a smile on her face. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. We love you and miss you.

Dear Joel, Marcy, Shira, Talia and David,
We were so sad to hear of the loss of Irene. She was a special lady, full of life and as funny as they come! Her visits to Richmond were always a treat. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Love to all of you . . .

Dear Marty, Sue and the Miller family,

I'm truly sorry about the loss of Aunt Irene and send my deepest sympathies to all of you during this difficult time. She was an absolutely wonderful person and her fantastic sense of humor, quick wit and lovable personality will surely be missed by everyone. Even though she's no longer with us, she'll always be a part of us because there are so many great stories and memories that we all have of her. My thoughts and prayers go out to all...

Dear Joel, Marcy, Shira, Talia, and David......how sad we are! Bubby Irene was like a bubby to all of us! Every time I opened my computer and saw that I had an email from Bubby Irene I knew that I was going to have a great day. Her sense of humor was superb. We are going to miss her jokes and the warm way she sent greetings to everyone on the yomtavim and other holidays. Our sincere sympathies go out to all of you ......certainly celebrate her life. She was such a kind, and warm lady...

Dear Marty, Susan and family...my heart just aches...as you know, I've worked with "Mom" for years as her nurse in her doctor's office. Always greeted with a kiss and left with the same. I've been with her for almost 15 years and losing her is like losing my own Grandmother. I admired her so...enjoyed her jokes and jabs...complaints and her joys. She certainly enjoyed traveling to see all of her family and spoke sooooo well of all of you. She was a pistol that I sometimes had to face or...

I knew Irene as my mother's best friend her whole life. Since they were 8 years old, they were the dearest of friends. She and her beloved Paul were close friends of both my parents.
I will miss her wonderful sense of humor, her positive energy, her pragmatic view of things, her stoic way of handling what the world dished out, and her constant affection for my mother, to whom I cannot bear to tell this sad news.
Rest peacefully, dear Irene, of blessed memory.
