Irene M.N. Monti

I succeeded Mrs Monti as the director of the Haddon Heights Library in 1977. Because of her efforts, I was able to work in a very fine building with the excellent staff that she hired: Mrs. Gilmore, Mrs. Gulick, Mrs. Carroll, Mrs. Cone, Mrs. Yeager and Mr. Burton. I grew up in Haddon Heights and spent so many hours in the library, as did my father. Thank you for your years of service to your community and for furthering the love of reading.

I too had a grandmother that was dear to me, I still miss her after 27 years. May your memories of her give comfort as you mourn her passing.
