This is David Starr. I helped edit Irene's book Shoot The Moon. This morning I was scanning the obituaries looking for a cousin's information and came across Irene's obituary.

I'm sorry to hear she has passed, but am sure she was met with joy on the other side by Woody. She was a great lady. Our sympathies are with you and your family.

Since she is being buried in Salt Lake City, if there is a memorial service up here I would like to attend, but have no contact information...

Irene and Woody were the most outstanding examples of integrity and grace. We have always admired them and treasured the friendships we had with them for so many years in Morgan Hill, California. Lori, Lani, Chris and April, your parents were outstanding in every way. You will miss them; but they are at peace now with Shellie and Dave. Please accept our sympathy and love.
