My condolences to all who love and miss Irene, such a wonderful woman and a great loss. May all the memories you have made help you and your family as you begin to heal, and remember that God is close to the broken-hearted.

Irene and I were locker mates at Lowrey High School. I missed Irene's sweet nature and murmured french language. Shocked by her early passing, I regret that we lost connection. Thank you for the obituary. Claudette may remember me. I am sad, too.

I am so saddened to learn of Irene's passing. I was her sorority sister in Alpha Mu chapter of Sigma Kappa at the University of Michigan. In fact, she was my Big Sister and roommate at one time. (I still have the pledge paddle she gave me at initiation.) Irene was vivacious and cheerful and a bit of a procrastinator on some of her art projects.
