Read MoreIrene and I are first cousins born in the same year, her Mother and my Dad being brother and sister. While we did not get to know each other until later in life we enjoyed sharing letters, text messages, phone calls and photos of her adventures. The last trip she shared with me was a trip she took to New Orleans. I told her to dance on Bourbon Street. She sent me a photo doing just that. I miss her......

As my older cousin I would always do what she asked. We shared many happy times at PTA after she convinced me to be president and enjoyed ideas to raise money for the school projects.
