Ms. Shepard, you were more than just my Spanish teacher in high school; you were an inspiration--and I would recall your life lessons from time to time throughout my adult life and they always rang true. You were one of the very few teachers or adults of any kind who I could honestly say that about. In that way, you will live on in me and others, until we, too, depart this Earthly life. Thanks for being who you were and for being part of my life.
