Irene Strong

To our friend, Irene, who was always full of vim, vigor and vitality. She always wanted to show us around or wanted to go for a ride and a enjoy a nice meal.

She always had cookies or goodies waiting at her home.

The last time we saw Irene was early June 2004 and she jumped into our Chevy Tahoe showed us where the tornado had touched down and then we looked for a restaurant which is tough on a late afternoon Sunday in Syracuse.

She was so much fun to be with and will be...

to all of you gathered, know that warm thoughts of your mother, grandmother and loved one are sent to you this day....she is in God's care and will no longer feel any pain. I am so happy to hear that all of you will be there. Celebrate her 94 years with warm memories of her very special life. Judie Wegener

I am so sorry I will not be able to attent Auntie Irene's celebration to go home, being with all of those waiting for her. I have so many memories of your Mom and Dad and the many nights I stayed with you because of muddy roads on the farm, just so I could go to HS.
