IRENE G. THEILING

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Theiling's passing. Many times I would see her as I was walking around the neighborhood in Willoughby. We would chat and she seemed so Interested in how I was doing. I have known her daughter, Sue since fourth grade. I was so concerned about her in taking care of her mother. That is so wonderful her mother was able to stay in the family home. Sue, Jim and Theiling families I loved Irene like a mother she was so great to me while I served in the Navy. She was a great friend to my late wife Sue "B" especially when she had cancer. Irene have a Vodka Cranberry and a big hug for me. Please except my deepest sympathy in your loss. I will pray to the Lord for strength. God Bless.

I remember many Gunvalsen Christmas Eves with "Glug", lutefisk, and the obligatory lineup of Arnie, Bob, Grandpa Olie, and whomever else singing "Goodnight Irene " while your mother stood by blushing as only a Scandinavian can. For most of my young life it wouldn't have been Christmas without it. She had a good, long life and that is the best we all can hope for. Dale and Terri Thornburg
