Irene was born on October 17, 1915 and passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016. Irene was a resident of Vandalia, Missouri at the time of her passing. She was married to Carl. Services for Irene Wilhelmine West 101 of Vandalia will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday December 20 2016 at Vandalia United Methodist Church with Reverend Helen McFarland officiating. Burial will be in Laddonia Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Bienhoff Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Vandalia United Methodist Church Vandalia Library or the Vandalia Recreational Committee.

What a great and wonderful life Aunt Irene lived.
It was always a treat for us to visit at her home. She made us feel so welcome.
Our visits were enjoyable and we loved to hear about her family. She was so proud of her family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, only wish we lived closer and could attend the services.
We love the family.
