Praying for all of you as you face the days ahead. She will be greatly missed; but what a happy reunion is taking place in heaven. We were blessed to call this precious lady "Aunt Irene." She will live forever in our hearts. Ron and Margaret Wood Lackey

I Love and Thank you. R.I.P. Aunt Irene

I will always remember Mrs Irene. We sat in Sunday school at Park Street holding hands. She was a precious lady with a smile that would light up the room. So many have gone recently Robert Oates and Mary Lou Aiken to name a few. They are waiting for her. What a beautiful reunion they will have. Heaven is getting sweeter every day!

I believe God puts special people on this earth to bless many others. Mrs. Wood is one of those. Some of my most fond memories is in the kitchen of Wood home, her home made biscuits and oatmeal cookies were the best ever made. Her sprit was warm and loving to me as a boy. She will be missed but be assured, she is in Heaven. Randal, Dale, Kay and Lane I will be praying for you. Dale Tant

My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. I had the pleasure of taking care of Ms. Irene when I worked at the Retreat of Easley. She was a ray of sunshine, funny, thoughtful, and loved her recliner. She was blessed to have so many loved ones taking such good care of her and visiting often. She will be missed.

Kaye-I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I will keep you in prayer in the coming days.
