Read MoreAs a teen, I played football and baseball with the 5 Bridges sons on the side lot of their home on August Drive in Clemmons. Mrs Bridges was always welcoming and gracious in her treatment of the neighborhood kids who were friends of her children. I now know those characteristics came from the care and love she had for her boys. She was a kind and considerate woman, both to me and to others.

Dear Family,
I was Iris beautican for many years...We enjoyed many long conversations about our families & about life in general...What a fine wonderful person she was...I felt very fortunate to call her my friend...My daughter (Ardith..who kept two of Iris grandchildren in day care) is sending this for me because I no longer live by myself but I wanted so much to let you know how much Iris meant to me.
