Not sure what to say?

i remember Ms. Caudill when i got my first job out of high school and worked downtown lakeland. she worked for the constable (when we still had them) in 1967 and i worked upstairs for oxford & oxford lawyers. i used to admire her style and professionalism and wanted to be just like her. well i ended up getting married and having kids. of course i hadn't seen her for many many years but sometime she would talk to me and give me some great advice.

I am so sorry to hear of Iris's passing. I feel your sorrow as much as you. My mom, Iris's cousin, Lou Etta Caudill-Owens also passed away on Sept. 29th. I always appreciated Iris for keeping in contact with my mom. I remember her kindness when my mom's dad, Barney Bass Caudill, passed away. Iris graciously provided us with transportation to the funeral, by driving us personally. She and my mom will be missed very much.

Our deepest condolences to Ms. Iris' family.

We love you Iris and will always remember you. You were there to perform our civil marriage for us the day after Valentine's Day, so you will always be special to us. I'm honored to have known such an extraordinary and inspiring person. Godspeed, Andy and Teresa

A few years later, I had to have an attorney and was referred to Dennis Fontaines office located in or next to the old Polk Theatre. Her and Mr. Fontaine did a lot for me and whenever I would ask Mr....
