My deepest condolences to Iris' family and friends. We grew up together in the Bronx and I have the greatest memories of our times together. Iris will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I know that she is now in a better place next to her parents, Nilda,and Haydee.May her relentless spirit live on in her children and grandchildren.I still her as a young person in my mind. My condolences to the family. I was friends with Iris from Fashion high school. She was always a lively and fun person. Rest in peace Iris. ♥

I first met Iris when she was a young girl living in the Bronx with her parents and her sisters and brothers. She was adorable with those big brown eyes, curly hair and a beautiful smile. My cousin was as sweet and loving as she was pretty. We lived relatively far from each other, she in the city and I on L.I., N.Y., but we stayed in touch mostly through our mothers as Aunt Fina and my mom Edith were sisters.
