Even though it is many years since Iris was the Iris we remember, we occasionally talk about a fun memory or about her hard work and dedication to nursing. We still love you Iris and our memories of you remain.

I am late in sharing our thoughts about Iris. We remember all of the fun we had when our families spent summers camping with kids/donkeys and horses. They were fun times and Iris' knowledge about camping helped with planning rather good meals away from the modern kitchen conveniences. She always had time to play with the kids and tend to the animals. She was smart, loving, and very athletic. Her laughter was infectious. We have missed her during the last years when altzeimers took hold...

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Please find peace and comfort in Psalms 119:76.

Sending love and warm wishes to Iris' family and especially Mark who remained a loving son throughout her battle with Alzheimers. May she enjoy her return to the great outdoors where she belongs.

I am both sad and happy to read Iris's obituary, knowing that now she is where she knows the people around her. We were just talking about her last week at our 50th nursing school reunion. I missed the smiling face that used to live across the hall from me.
