Dear Glenn, Ken and Ben,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a beautiful women and loved by all. I can remember your mom and dad both playing the piano and that organ they had together. What fond memories we will cherish of her. I know how much she suffered and what relief she has now, even though it is so hard to say good bye. Love to you all. I am so sorry we could not be there for the services but know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Glenn, Ben and Ken: I'm so, so sorry to hear of your loss. I will never forget how nice your mother was and all of the fun times our families had together while we were growing up. Though I can't be there in person, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Pam (Ellyson) Pitts

Dear Fortner Family, The Roanoke Monday Night Girl's Bridge Group is saddened by the loss of your wonderful mother. Iris was such a witty, intelligent, kind person... AND a gracious bridge partner...she was sorely missed when she left Roanoke to return to Richmond and will always be fondly remembered.... With deepest sympathy,

Iris and Benny were good friends while living in Roanoke and I am very sad to learn of her death. We had a fun time together learning to play bridge(we really didn't do much playing, just socializing) and Benny and Ron were in chemo together. Both Iris and Ben were an important part of Windsor Hills UMC while here and will be missed by many. With Christian Love, Joan Wheeler

Belmont Park is saddened today with the loss of your Mother. Iris was a wonderful neighbor, always smiling, and an elegant person when playing BUNCO. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Glenn, Ben and Ken:You have truly lost someone special. Your mother was a beautiful lady, both inside and out. She was such a great mother, loving and understanding. She and your dad successfully raised three baby boys into fine successful men who are now raising families of their own. I know they were both so proud of each of you. What a blessing it is for you to have had a mom like Iris. During a difficult time in my life, your mother was a good neighbor and friend to me and my...
