Happy Heavenly Birthday Iris. I do miss her phone calls and cards. She would often remind me of something my dad Phil would say to her when they talked on the phone and that was How is your weather their today? Im sure her family will remember her say that from time to time.

Iris was my big sister. We laughed, we cried, we some times fought, we shared secrets, just as sisters who love each other do. I laugh when I think of the fun times and silliness we shared. I cry when I think of the sad times and losses we experienced together. Through it all we were family and saw each other through it all.

Granny (Iris) was the Grandmother you could only imagine in a perfect world, she would put herself through discomfort and distress to show you perfection as long as you were happy thats all she cared about. I will never forget the way she would say "Hello Honey!" With the biggest smile on her face as i walked through the door knowing I was going to eat reguardless if I ate 5 mins ago or 5 hours ago because thats who she was, she had to help, talking would go on for hours about 1 of 2 things...
