Iris Eileen Nelson

Iris was a real spark plug as a supervisor for Pacific N.W. Bell. I first met her in 1978 at the Atlantic service center. I remember one day she had instructed our boss to have us call customers first thing in the morning to make service repair appointments. I said to her: "Iris; isn't it a bit early to call people at home? They might still be asleep." She quickly replied "Oh no. If we could, I'd have us call much earlier." She was a real "go getter."
