Iris Kornegay Pritchard

My deepest condolence on the loss of a special soul. I had the opportunity to meet, have dinner and go through albums of her modeling career. Beautiful person. Deepest sympathy to her sons and all her family and friends. There are never any words that are ever fitting. I know how much she loved her sons and she continues on with and within them. Mergime

I remember Iris gracefully and regally descending the spiral staircase of the Pritchard homestead on Providence Road on her wedding day, dressed splendidly in a tight fitting white gown. I was 14. I was in love. I remained in love to this day, 62 years later. She will always be my idea of an ideal woman, draw-droppingly beautiful yet just as warm and shiny inside. No one could be finer.

Aunt Iris was indeed my favorite aunt. She had such an elegance about her and she showed such empathy and compassion to all. When I was in her presence I felt she was of royalty and was in awe of her beauty and grace. She had such a tender and loving spirit. Iris is off to live more of her life in spirit form. Losing someone you love always makes us pause. It changes us. I love you Auntie Iris. RIP

I have fond memories of Iris helping me pick out a prom dress many years ago. And I know how happy she was to have her sons. I am so sorry for your loss.

Aunt Iris was always glowing and vibrant, with a radiant smile and the quintessential positive attitude. She was clearly the model Ambassador for Life.
