Read MoreAs a volunteer at the nursing home I could always expect to see Iris sitting in her doorway. I had no idea she had gone to be with the LORD when I went yesterday. I felt a loss when I saw her empty doorway and other residents spoke of missing her. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

I will always treasure my time with my sweet Aunt Iris. I remember her for her kindness, her gentle sweet smile and her being so witty. Rest in peace my dear Aunt. I take great comfort in knowing that you are in the house of the Lord. Loved, missed but never forgotten.

We are going to miss Mrs.Iris, It was always a pleasure seeing and talking to her everytime we came to see my mother ( Barbara Hammonds), at the nursing home.
