Iris L. Rominger

At one of our class reunions I attended some years back, I told Iris how I once sat in class at Ellensburg High and admired her brilliant green eyes. Really striking. When I told her that, she told me those were just green contacts, which were a pretty new innovation in those days. My memory was shattered but we laughed together. Saw her a few years later in the Assessor's office when I came to Eburg to settle an issue with my parents' property. A wonderful lady now at rest.

This is such sad news. Iris was a wonderful woman and friend who will be missed by many. Our county was fortunate to have Iris as our county assessor. She was the ultimate professional. Sleep well, dear Iris. .

So sorry for your loss. We have all lost a beautiful part of this world, but she is at peace now. Those who knew her have lost a beautiful friend inside and out. May she rest in peace.
