Dr. Iris G. Scarborough

My deepest sympathies to the Scarborough family and the extended family. Dr. Scarborough taught me at Campbell University from 1992-1996. She not only taught me music, but that it's never too late in life to accomplish your dream. You may have found a white bisque set of musicians. When she played for my graduation recital, this was my gift to her. She and I corresponded via mail over the last five to seven years. She will truly be missed. I am truly saddened to learn of Ms. Scarborough's homegoing but know she is truly singing praises for she loved music. I was very blessed to have her for music during my school years at Four Oaks School graduating in 1966 - all students loved her. Our sincere sympathy to all her loving family - hundreds of lives were touched by "Miss Scarborough" and many of us will join her one day singing songs of praise together to our Lord.
