Reading saved newspapers after a visit to my 95 year old Mom in FL, I saw the beautifully written memory inducing columns about Mickey. I was one of those college kids clearing brush behind the Mill way back when. (Got poison ivy in my armpits that day.)
I'm so sorry I missed the memorial. Thanks for the memories, Wendy.

sorry for your loss Wendy.When I was a young teen she would let us "work" on saturdays moving rocks or pulling branches out of the causeway that led to the river.We goofed off a lot but she always gave us a few bucks.She also let us play our guitars and drums in the basement of the main building even though we were terrible and couldnt play.Great woman.........................Steve Burkett
