Mrs. Clayton was my 7th grade teacher. I shall ALWAYS remember her grace, personal style, elegance, and her very embodiment of EXCELLENCE!!!! As a teacher, she has impacted generations of families - well into the future!! Rest in peace & power Mrs. Clayton.

Here's a picture of Mrs. Clayton that my sister Johnnie Brumfield (Kindred) took of her at Addison Jr. High

Mrs. Clayton was my 9th grade English teacher at Addison Jr. High. Here's a picture that I took of her in class on Wednesday, June 12,1968. She was truly loved and respected by her students. My deepest condolences to her family. I have also uploaded a picture my sister took of her in 1962. Betty Kindred

Aunt Irma.....So many beautiful memories of all the love and care you gave so freely. You will be missed❤

Mrs Clayton was my teacher at Addison Jr. High. I was in the graduating class of 1963. Your family is in my prayers. Carolyn

My sincerest sympathy to the Family. Mrs. Irma Clayton was my 7th Grade teacher at Addison Junior High. She was so loved. I will remember her smile. She was a good teacher, best friend and a "Second Mom". I had the chance to see her a few times around town in the past 5 years and I would tell her the same thing about how I knew her. She was special.

The Nathan Hale graduating class of 1973 sends their sincere condolences to the family.

Mrs. Clayton was such an exceptional teacher; a lady of class and style, and our hearts are just a little heavy at her passing.

Any of us that passed through her classroom have such fond memories of her.

She will be missed.

Rest Mrs. Clayton in heavenly peace.
