Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of your mothers passing. She was a wonderful woman. She was a good friend of my father-in- law Bob Grams. You are in our thoughts and prayers!

Just about the nicest person I ever met. Wish I had known her better. What a lady.

I have known Irma since we went to high school together. Many fond memories. We continued our friendship for all these years afterward when we would get together for dinner with our families and friends. She will be greatly missed by many.

Dear Carol,

Pleased to know that I contued to be in Irma's thoughts. We had so many happy times together. I will always remember her as when I saw her last. She always was a happy and positive lady. She is in my thoughts and prayers. God bless

May the God of all comfort who comforts in all our trials be with the family and friends during this difficult time.

As longtime garden editor of the Plain Dealer, Irma was not only extremely knowledgeable about all things growing, but gave advice to readers as if to close friends and, in doing so, spread many seeds which will continue to grow.

I was so sorry to hear today, Carol, that you lost your mother last week. She and I became good friends working at the Cleveland Plain Dealer in the 60's and have stayed in touch. Irma was always an inspiration to me. My condolences to you and your family.
