Reggie, I am so sorry to hear about your mother´s passing. I have so many memories of her as the C.A. Brown librarian and as my late mother Dorothy´s colleague and friend. On behalf of the Wright family - Reginald Sr., Reginald Jr., and Caroline Wright Canty, I offer our sincere condolences.

Mrs. Irma Greene was the Librarian at Burke High School during my high school years. Then, she and I became Delta Sorors and Chartered members of the North Charleston Alumnae Chapter. I am with sadness when I say the first time I saw and talked to Mrs. Greene was at Burke, and the time I saw and spoke to her was at the North Charleston Alumnae Chapters' May Week event, May, 2019. In addition to having Mrs. Greene in my life, her brother, Mr. Melvin Brown, Sr. was my Biology teacher. To the...
