Not sure what to say?

To the family of Irma Nelson, I was so sorry to her of her passing. My family and I would like to send our condolences. May she Rest In Peace in the house of God. Sincerely, Eleanora “Pam” Roach-Givens

Our families grew close from attending as children, St. Andrew A.M.E. Zion Church, when it was located @ 2933 w. 25th Ave., under the Pastorship of the late Rev. Sylvester Norman and later the late Rev. Thomas Dickerson. Though I knew who I was talking to when I faced them, I ALWAYS got their names mixed up...I'd called Irma, Elma and Elma, Irma. They always had to correct me and in time seeing their expressions...I got it right! I have nothing but meek and delightful memories of Irma,...

My pleasure to have bible study with such a sweet person. May Abba give you rest and bless the family.

To beloved Irma Nelson; RIP and to the entire Nelson family, I send my heartfelt condolence, sympathy and prayers to you. When I was told Irma made her transition, my heart was sad, but I also smiled, because I knew deep inside, that you had gotten your freedom from the pain. To the family once again, Earth has no sorrow that our Creator cannot heal. Rest in Peace Irma! Rise in victory!

To my brother-in-law Eric, grief can be so hard but our special memories help us cope. Irma is a beautiful jewell from a beautiful family. My prayer is the God of Abraham,Issac, and Jacob give you and the Nelson family strength to endure this difficult hour. Rev. Jerome Jones ,Worshipful Master and Chaplain of Martin Luther King Jr. Lodge #822 of A.A.S.R. Masons Madison Wisconsin.

I first made the acquaintance of Irma, an enjoyable person with a big laugh, in high school. Her sister Elma was my classmate but little did either of us know that we'd eventually have a family relationship when her youngest brother married my sister. Whenever I'd run into Irma and her mother out shopping Irma remained the same, kind and friendly. So to Eric, Elma, Pastor Willie, Deborah, and D'Angelo, Irma has made her call and election sure. May you always cherish her memory.

Always Together

Will always remember the times we cherious together. Irma you will not be forgotten. Rest In Heaven

Sis. Irma was such a loving and compassionate woman. She always put others before herself. When she probably needed encouragement she was encouraging and uplifting others. Her laugh and smile was infectious... you couldn’t help but to reciprocate the happiness back to her. She was such a joy to be around because she kept it real and I lived that about her. Sis. Irma will be greatly missed and we would like the family (Pastor, D’Angelo, Kendra and all other family members) to know that you...

My Sister-in-Law had an infectious laugh and an even bigger personality that just filled any room she was in. She knew the Lord and professed her belief in Him. She never ended a call until she said, "I love you" and the response was, "I love you too, Irma." Now, you are basking in the love of Our Father. Rest In Paradise.

To my husband and family, after the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, remember that we will all hold onto the many memories of Irma and keep...
