Not sure what to say?

I was sad to hear of the passing of your mother, the world keeps getting smaller. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Karen. I just learned today she was the daughter of Irma Patterson. WOW!

I was an intern at Youth Guidance (1980) and I remember Mrs. Patterson being a very nice person.

May she rest in peace. God bless and keep you during the days ahead.

Irma, my friend, you have always been so very supportive of me from the first day we volunteered at Home Club when Karen and Shun were only 2 yrs old to just last yr with the China Earthquake. Miss you

I have many fond childhood memories spending time with Auntie Irma, Uncle Bill, Karen and William. Although our families have not seen each other for a while, you will always live on in our memories and hearts.

"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit" Psalms 34:18. Irma was truly a devoted CABSW member. She will be solely missed. We could always depend on Irma to have her camera ready to snap that candid shot. Having known her has been a blessing in my life. I will truly miss her. God's Blessings to the family.

My life was truly blessed and enriched by Irma ~~~ She was a wonderful woman, a great friend, an exceptional social worker, and a phenomenal mentor! I will miss her very much . . .

To the Patterson Family: The day I met Irma she became my friend. I don't think she was ever a stranger to anyone. Irma was a friend, professional colleague, and an inspiration to many. Her energy, enthusiasm, and level of dedication made a positive impact on everything she touched. Irma will be truly missed. Her NASW, Diversity Committee Members will miss her dearly. Sincerely,
Past President, NASW, IL Chapter.
